High Jump High is 2 week session of in-person classes for High Jump 8th graders who are transitioning into high school. The objectives of this class are to encourage strong sense of self, develop communication skills, help build trust within self and others, develop cooperation between individuals unfamiliar with one another, and foster awareness of others and their feelings.Note:This is NOT an academic course. Curriculum and lessons have been created.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Communicate and set classroom expectations for students as supported by the High Jump Teacher’s Handbook
- Proactively communicate with students, families, and Alumni Programs Manager regarding student (lack of) progress, work completion, and behavior when necessary
- Collaborate with and report toAlumni Programs Manager
- Differentiate lessons, create, add, and adapt student tasks for each class
- Dates: July 7 - July 18
- Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm* (Subject to change based on registration)
- Location: Francis W. Parket School (330 W Webster Ave, Chicago, IL 60614)
- Professional Development: We require 2 days of professional development for all teachers and staff, please tentatively hold the following dates: June 26 & 27
