FINANCE & HR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Do you thrive on precision, processes, and driving results in both finance and operations? High Mesa Craftsmen in Olathe, CO, is looking for a full-time Finance & Human Resources Operations Manager to lead our financial and HR operations, with an eye on optimizing our project flow.
THE BASICS
Pay: We offer competitive pay between $70,000 and $85,000/year.
Schedule: This full-time role is based in Montrose, CO, with some responsibilities in Olathe, CO. You'll work Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM with a team meeting, splitting your time between the office and the production shops to stay involved with all our operations.

YOUR DAY AS A FINANCE & HR OPERATIONS MANAGER
As our FINANCE & HR OPERATIONS MANAGER, your day will begin by diving into QuickBooks Desktop Premier (Contractor Edition) and/or QuickBooks Online, overseeing all accounting and financial operations, including accounts receivable and payable. You will be trusted to provide valuable financial oversight and advice. You will work closely with the management team to ensure smooth HR operations, handle employee performance reviews, and oversee personnel policies, hiring and wage management. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with Operations Managers to track customer jobs and manage the project flow, ensuring invoicing is timely and recommending process improvements when needed. From refining financial strategies to enforcing internal controls, each day will see you balancing numbers, processes, and people to keep High Mesa Craftsmen and our team moving forward.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FINANCE & HR OPERATIONS MANAGER
- Mastery of QuickBooks Desktop Premier (QuickBooks Online experience a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, project management, or statistics
- 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, HR, and payroll
- Must be a self-starter with the confidence and initiative to manage all Finance and HR operations for the company
- Experience working with a CPA, managing HR functions, and overseeing staff
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel
- Familiarity with financial reporting, project tracking, and internal control policies
