Hours: Part-time; PRN (as needed); up to 28 hours weekly

Join our team as a Part-Time (PRN) Recovery Worker and help provide essential services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness or children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances.
In this role, you will provide Attendant Care, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Respite Care, and Crisis Intervention services to clients in community settings, ensuring they receive the one-on-one support they need to maintain a stable lifestyle and achieve their treatment goals. This position offers flexible, as-needed hours that fit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation to clients at risk of decompensating in a variety of community settings.
- Assist in maintaining daily routines, providing supervision, and delivering support aligned with the consumer’s treatment goals.
- Monitor and document client progress, including mood and behavior, and communicate effectively with the treatment team.
- Respond to crisis situations and alert the supervisor or appropriate team members when necessary.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling as needed.
- Provide transportation services to patients (must maintain a valid driver’s license).
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all Center policies and guidelines.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements:To provide Psychosocial Rehabilitation services individually or in a group setting and/or Attendant Care services, RW must meet the following:
(1) Be 18 years of age or older and if providing services to a consumer who is under the age of 18, must be at least three years older than the consumer;
(2) Possess demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to work with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or severe emotional disturbance, and the ability to react effectively in a wide variety of human service situations;
(3) Have certification of completion of state approved standardized basic training program according to curriculum approved by the Division of Health Care Policy;
(4) Have access to reliable transportation; and
(5) pass KBI, SRS child abuse check, Adult Abuse Registry and Motor Vehicle screens.
(6) Must demonstrate competency in the use of technology including computers, various software applications, printers, scanners, telephones, etc. Must also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, to include understanding and application of technology (hardware, software, equipment and processes).
To provide Crisis Intervention services, the RW must meet the following:
(1) must be 21 years or older and if providing services to a consumer who is under the age of 18, must be at least three years older than the consumer;
(2) have a high school diploma or equivalent; and must meet qualifications numbered 2-5 above.
Must be physically capable of ensuring personal safety in potentially high-pressure or crisis situations. The ability to maintain physical readiness and stamina to respond effectively to crisis calls is required. Training in safety protocols and de-escalation techniques will be provided.
