High Point Country Club is accepting applications for an experienced line chefs. Qualified candidates will have worked in upscale casual or fine dining restaurants for three years, have the ability to put the members and their guests dining experiences as their top priority, can work well within a team and strives for excellence in all they do. Responsibilities
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, meat cutting, sauce preparation)
- Reading and executing recipes
- Menu production during service hours
- Maintain kitchen and individual stations impeccably clean and in keeping with health department guidelines
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, our membership and guests
Skills
- Proven culinary experience, including a minimum of 3 years experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook in a fast-paced, upscale workplace.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Work in a clean and organized fashion
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and most Holidays.
