HPFi was founded in 1958 and remains a privately-held, woman-owned business. HPFi entered the commercial furniture market in 1963 and manufactures laminate case goods, lounge seating, executive seating, conference, collaborative and training tables and seating, guest seating and healthcare products. All products are produced by HPFi in our High Point, NC manufacturing facility. HPFi's customers are in the contract, education, healthcare and government sectors.

We are recruiting for a Controller position in High Point, NC. The position will report directly to the President and Fractional CFO and is responsible for day-to day accounting operations as well as monthly financial reporting and analysis.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to the following.
* Perform monthly and annual financial processes and closings for HPFi and its related real estate holding company.
* Perform financial analysis to identify variances and trends
*Prepare monthly financial statements for review with President and Fractional CFO
*Manage the general ledger, including monthly journal entry adjustments and account reconciliations
* Work closely with manufacturing operations managers to account for inventory
*Supervise Accounting staff and review their work for accuracy
* Implement and manage the annual budget process
* Develop and/or improve document processes and procedures
* Review, suggest, and maintain internal controls to protect the company's assets
* Identify and communicate opportunities to improve the company's financial performance
* Work with External CPA's and other Trusted Advisors in providing requested data and information as well as reviewing their services provided
* Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and annual compliance requirements, such as financial statement audits, 1099 filings, property tax filings, 401k reporting, and annual reports.
