The Laclede County R-1 School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Director of Athletics /Activities to oversee and coordinate the school's athletic programs and extracurricular activities. This individual will be responsible for organizing schedules, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with MSHSAA regulations, and promoting an environment that pursues the district's mission. This position will likely be tied to a teaching assignment and possible coaching responsibilities.
The district operates on a 4-day week with Fridays off. The district provides $540 towards health insurance.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, or a related field. - Experience in athletic program management, coaching, or school administration is preferred. - Knowledge of MSHSAA rules and regulations for athletics. - Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. - CDL with School Bus Endorsement is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
