Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of educational programs that align with the district's PLC and PBIS philosophies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support curriculum and instructional enhancements in alignment with the district’s Continuous School Improvement Plan, ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education.
- Help establish and uphold school policies and procedures that guide educational programs, student behavior, and interactions with parents and the broader community.
- Oversee key aspects of student attendance, behavior management, and school culture, providing leadership in day-to-day school operations and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with the Principal and staff to develop and implement evaluation systems for assessing and improving school programs and initiatives.
- Identify professional development needs for staff, assist in supporting instructional specialists, and encourage continuous professional growth for all school personnel.
- Stay informed about emerging educational trends at the local, state, and national levels, and help keep staff updated on best practices and innovations.
- Assist in leading faculty meetings, facilitating professional development opportunities, and supporting staff to ensure adherence to district goals and policies.
- Support the Principal in staff evaluations and make recommendations on personnel decisions, including hiring, retention, promotion, and assignment of staff.
- Represent the school in community forums and meetings, fostering strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders to support the school's educational objectives.
- Ensure adherence to all Board of Education policies and maintain effective reporting and planning procedures, helping to evaluate educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s Degree or higher in Education Administration
- Valid administrative certification
- Experience in educational leadership or building leadership preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
