- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams on-site to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible rates for materials and services.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead expenses.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines in conjunction with cost estimates.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
