Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide high-quality patient care, including routine cleanings, exams, and education
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry and hygiene through ongoing education and training
- Contribute to the overall success of our practice by meeting productivity and quality standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active dental hygienist license in Florida and an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and medical history documentation
- CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent experience of 1-2 years
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
