Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Sales Representative to join our growing team, specializing in Diabetic and Skin Graph Products. This individual will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and delivering exceptional customer service to patients and providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the DME industry, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and be passionate about improving patient care through innovative medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Promote and sell Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems to healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations.
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and target potential new customers, including endocrinologists, sleep specialists, and respiratory therapists.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs and offer tailored solutions for products.
- Product Knowledge & Demonstrations:
- Maintain deep knowledge of the latest technologies and product offerings.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals, showcasing the benefits and features of our equipment.
- Train healthcare providers and their staff on product usage, features, and patient benefits.
- Serve as a technical resource for healthcare providers and patients, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support.
- Sales Support & Coordination:
- Work closely with the Customer Support and Billing teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of equipment to patients.
- Monitor the sales pipeline, track progress, and report on sales metrics regularly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any product-related issues or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reimbursement guidelines related to CGM and Sleep Apnea devices.
- Market Intelligence & Industry Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and new market opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), CGM, Sleep Apnea devices, or related healthcare fields.
- Experience working directly with healthcare providers, physicians, or medical professionals is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of reimbursement processes and insurance requirements related to DME products is a plus.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop new business and maintain existing accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Ability to present complex product information clearly and effectively.
- Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Comfort with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tracking tools.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Additional certifications or training in sales, DME, or healthcare products is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally within your assigned territory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
