Job Title: Facilities Manager – Bryant Field
Location: Marysville, California
Reports To: VP of Business Operations
Job Summary: The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the renovation, maintenance, and operational readiness of Bryant Field in preparation for the upcoming season. This role ensures that the stadium meets all safety standards, provides an exceptional experience for fans and players, and operates efficiently during all events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Renovation Oversight: Lead and coordinate all renovation activities to ensure Bryant Field is ready for opening day. Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for the stadium's infrastructure, including playing surfaces, seating areas, restrooms, and concession stands. Ensure all facilities are in optimal condition for each event.
- Event Operations: Plan and manage the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently. Coordinate with event organizers to meet specific requirements and provide a seamless experience for attendees.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the stadium complies with all local, state, and federal safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections and address any potential hazards promptly to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise facility staff, including groundskeepers, maintenance personnel, and event support teams. Foster a positive work environment and promote professional development among staff members.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, including maintenance, staffing, and operational expenses. Monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure services are delivered as agreed to support stadium operations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios, including medical emergencies, severe weather, and security incidents. Train staff on emergency procedures to ensure readiness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a sports or events venue. Proven track record of managing renovations and preparing facilities for large-scale events.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the stadium's event schedule.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
Compensation:
