Job Overview
Join our team as an EKG Technician at our medical facility, a Level II Trauma Center, where you will play a crucial role in cardiac care. As an EKG Technician, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests to assess heart rhythms and conditions.
Certified EKG tech (Travel)
Location: Asheville, NC
Contract Length: 13 weeks | 36 hrs/week
SHIFT: DAYS
Pay Packages:
- Travel: $1210/week (W2: $15/hr (Total Taxable Pay (weekly)- $540) $670 stipend)
Required Qualifications:
Min 2 years of recent experience
BLS, EKG certification
Locals are not acceptable (50 miles radius rule)
Duties
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) to monitor and record heart activity
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Utilize aseptic techniques during patient interactions
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, cardiology, and medical terminology to accurately interpret results
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate telemetry readings
- Operate sonography and radiology equipment as needed
