Job Overview
We are seeking an EKG Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering electrocardiograms and stress tests to patients, contributing to the diagnostic evaluation of cardiac conditions.
Duties
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) on patients in various settings
- Conduct stress tests to monitor heart activity during physical exertion
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide accurate test results
- Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patients' heart rhythms
- Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
Experience
- Knowledge of aseptic technique in a medical setting
- Familiarity with sonography and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Experience working in a lab or clinical environment
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Previous experience in a cardiology department or with cardiac patients
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.92 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
