- This employee provides application development/integration services to the Department of Technology, Management and Budget and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
- They will be responsible for the design, maintenance, development, and enhancement of the agency applications.
- Project assignments and activity will be executed within the framework of the State of Michigan System Engineering Methodology (SEM).
- These assignments will provide for the development, testing and deployment of application releases, updates and modifications within a client/server and web server environment.
- This position is responsible for providing technical support for packages implemented for the Management Division of the department.
- This role performs system analyst assignments, including but not limited to, gathering requirements, planning, analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, documenting and maintenance of complex client server and web-based applications using Azure Dev/OPS.
This employee may maintain and support applications that are using the following:
- MS Dynamics (365), Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, MS Power Apps/Power Pages, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, Visual Basic Scripting, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL, Java, Java Scripting, XML, HTML, Web Services, AJAX, and jQuery
Top Skill & Years of Experience Required:
- Extensive experience with MS Dynamics - 3-5 years
- PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Certified – Highly Preferred
- Web Portal - 3-5 years
- PowerApps - Highly Preferred
- Azure DevOps 5 years
- Database Experience- 1-3 years
- Infrastructure/Network and Application Support - 5 years
- Troubleshooting skills (ASP.NET, HTML, etc.) minimum years' experience required - 5 years.
