The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description DUTIES DESCRIPTION: • Evaluates social profiles including conducting discovery meetings to learn more about our goals and audience and determine social media channels that are the best match for our target audience. • Develops and implements custom social media strategies for each social platform/channel. • Facilitates weekly planning sessions to review and change content schedules for social media platforms. • Researches, creates, and update series of posts and content that demonstrate consistency, understanding, expertise, knowledge, that empower students using best practices and most effective posting times. Content includes, will not be limited to weekly/monthly content schedule for all social media platforms. • Posts and updates a minimum of 40-50 social media posts per month for each HESC social outlet and a minimum of 20-30 social posts for NY GEAR UP’s social media account. Social channels include at a minimum: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. When applicable, posts will include photos, illustrations and/or animations with copywriting – provided by vendor. • Ensures that the HESC and NY Gear Up’s voices are consistent across all channels and that all content is in line with NYS brand guidelines. • Daily monitoring of social media feeds-at a minimum of 1-2 hours of engagement/interaction with followers to respond to comments/inquiries per day. • Follows and interacts with partners, influencers and other relevant government and nongovernment feeds and share information across social channels. • Analyzes and reports social media metrics weekly on HESC and NY GEAR UP social media channels and all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s, including number of posts, engagements, growth, reach, conversions, top performing posts and time spent. • Meets or exceeds benchmarks and makes recommendations for modifications to HESC social media strategy to ensure optimal performance. • Stays current on the latest social media trends across the various social media platforms and applies these trends to HESC social media strategies. • Performs other duties as assigned.
