Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting marketing and administrative functions while also managing our social media presence. This is a full-time position with a somewhat flexible schedule, and the rate of pay will be determined by experience.

Higher Ground is hiring for a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to support our Marketing Department. This is a full-time position, and a great opportunity for the right person to step in and learn about music promotion with a solid, elite group of marketing professionals and graphic artists.
The primary responsibility of the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator are:
Analytics and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze metrics, demographics, and performance data for marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate insights to the Management Team.
Social Media Management:
- Maintain and update our social media platforms with engaging and relevant content.
- Create and schedule posts across various channels to optimize visibility and engagement.
- Monitor social media activity, respond to inquiries, and engage with our audience to foster community interaction.
Email Marketing:
- Assist in the creation and execution of weekly email campaigns.
- Manage email lists, segmentations, and scheduling of email pushes.
Street Team Coordination:
- Coordinate efforts with our Street Team, including the creation of promotional materials such as flyers.
- Organize and communicate with volunteers to support street team initiatives and events.
Archives Maintenance:
- Maintain organized archives of marketing materials, documents, and digital assets.
- Ensure accessibility and accuracy of archived materials for future reference.
Office Duties:
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing mail, and coordinating office supplies.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and events as needed.
Other Projects:
- Support Marketing Manager and team members on various projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in marketing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and social media management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in InDesign and experience with email marketing platforms is a plus.
