Company Description

Radix Health protects patients from surprise healthcare bills and fights for fair insurance payments to healthcare providers.

Specifically, we leverage the No Surprises Act's Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) process to quickly and efficiently boost out-of-network reimbursement for providers at scale.

We combine Silicon Valley software engineering with deep healthcare expertise, unlocking a seamless and transparent way for providers to embrace the new out-of-network reimbursement landscape.

Radix is led by ambitious co-founders with diverse prior experience, spanning from healthcare services Investment Banking / Private Equity to product management in high-growth tech.

We're an early-stage startup and have quickly become a leading solution in our space. Our Seed Round investors include Afore Capital, Red Bike Capital and Bain Capital Ventures.

As our Founding Business Operations hire, you will :

Build our operations function from the ground up as our Founding Business Operations Manager. We are looking for an operator who is highly detail-oriented, a self-starter, and passionate about driving operational improvements. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that our internal systems run smoothly while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and customer teams.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process Management & Improvement : Analyze operational data to develop actionable solutions, identify inefficiencies, and optimize workflows to drive measurable results.
  • Metric Ownership : Take ownership of critical KPIs, such as claim win rates and reimbursements, and implement strategies to achieve consistent improvements.
  • Problem-Solving : Take initiative to solve problems quickly, making data-driven decisions and driving results with minimal oversight.
  • Product Passion : Develop a deep understanding of Radix Health's products and leverage this knowledge to drive both process and product improvements.
  • Time-Sensitive Operations : Efficiently execute repetitive, high-volume tasks such as data mapping, discrepancy resolution, and time-critical processes.
  • Multi-Tasking : Be comfortable wearing multiple hats and managing various operational tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Customer-Facing Responsibilities : Interface with external stakeholders, including negotiating with insurance companies and responding to customer queries.

Qualifications :

  • Proven ability to analyze data and solve problems to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent accuracy and organization, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously without error.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and present operational data with precision and clarity.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into easy to understand written and verbal comms
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment.
  • Bias to action, demonstrated history of making decisions with incomplete information.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and customers.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles is a plus, especially in negotiations or customer support.
  • Familiarity with SQL or the willingness to learn quickly is desirable.
  • Prior experience in healthtech, revenue cycle management, fintech, finance or consulting is a bonus, but not required.
