With flagship customers like the District of Columbia, Caltrain, and LA Metro, we're on track to 5x ARR this year, making this a pivotal moment for our brand.The RoleWe're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own our product marketing strategy, help shape how we tell our story, position our products, and drive adoption across government, private sector partners, and everyday users. As our first dedicated marketing hire, you'll contribute to our marketing strategy, shape our brand narrative, and lay the foundation for a high-impact function. While we sell to local government and transit agencies (B2G), this role requires a creative marketer who thinks more like B2C-someone who can craft compelling, human-centered narratives that make our brand a household name. Drive execution while identifying the resources needed to scale, with the opportunity to grow the team over time.Define Market Positioning & Brand Narrative : Develop messaging that connects with public sector decision-makers and the millions of people who will use our proudct every day.Lead Go-to-Market Strategy : Develop and execute plans for new market expansions, product launches, and feature rollouts.Storytelling & Demand Generation : Craft creative campaigns that make our product the conversation in urban planning, equity, and public space innovation and lead to marketing qualified leads for Sales.Sales Enablement : Develop tools, content, smarketing emails, and training to help the sales team win government contracts and private sector deals.Market & Competitive Intelligence : Conduct research to understand user needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends, translating insights into action.Cross-Functional Leadership : Work closely with Sales, Operations and Product teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.Customer Insights & Advocacy : Develop a deep understanding of our users and decision-makers, using research and feedback to refine positioning and influence product roadmaps.Qualifications5 to 8 years of experience as a scrappy marketing generalist.Exceptional storytelling skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with both government buyers and the general public.B2C creative mindset with experience with B2G sales dynamics preferred.Proven experience in go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for complex products-ideally in hardware, IoT, or civic infrastructure.Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and growth teams to drive measurable impact.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into data-driven marketing strategies.Experience in public sector marketing or navigating government procurement processes is a strong plus.Based in one of our existing markets (LA, DC, Bay Area, or Detroit) preferred, but remote candidates will be considered.Why Join?Growth opportunity with a rapidly scaling mission-driven company transforming public infrastructure with a real-world impact.Competitive salary equityHealthcare, 401(k), and other benefits.The opportunity to define and lead product marketing at a category-defining company.We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
