Payroll Administrator
Location : Remote or Hybrid (Corporate Office - Huntsville, AL)
Description :
Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing for multiple states. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.This position reports to our EVP, Administration and works closely with Finance,Human Resources and other Business and Team Leads, as needed, as well as our Third-Party outsourcing vendor.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee the payroll process in its entirety, to include supplemental pay (i.e. commissions, bonuses)
- Ensure legal compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Set up and / or close payroll tax accounts in various states, as needed
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees
- Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to resolve any payroll discrepancies
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation records
- Ensure employee account updates are completed, and backup documentation is stored for payroll review.
