Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and check in patients and visitors with professionalism
- Manage incoming phone calls, provide accurate information, and route inquiries as needed
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring a smooth patient flow
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits; collect and accurately post payments
- Prepare treatment estimates and submit prior authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient records and notations in the practice management system
- Collaborate with referring offices and ensure timely, effective communication
- Reconcile daily deposits and generate related reports
- Support patients by answering questions and guiding them through the administrative process
- 1 years of experience in a dental or oral surgery front desk role preferred
- Medical or dental front office experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a detail-oriented, high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental/medical electronic records systems
