Requirements :
Surgical Tech Qualifications & Responsibilities :
- 1 years of experience in surgical settings including but not limited to outpatient surgery, oral or dental, and hospital settings preferred.
- Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting preferred
- Assist the Oral Surgeon during procedures, including tooth extractions and dental implants, while recording doctor notes and vital signs.
- Prepare treatment rooms, take high-quality dental x-rays, and follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Review and accurately document patient health histories, ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and support for a comfortable experience.
- Perform office management tasks using practice software and maintain a professional, patient-focused approach.
