MEDICATION
ASSISTANT
We
are looking for the right person to partner with our residents to help them
continue to live their lives of purpose and make the most of every day by
providing the best care and support we can give them. We specialize in assisted living and memory

operate communities in the western US and are seeking the right Medication
Assistant to join our team. If you are

for the care of our residents, which can be hands-on and/or stand-by assistance

means to provide for the whole person, providing physical assistance with
activities of daily living and emotional, psychological, and soulful support.
The best candidate may have current caregiving credentials, be an
organized and detail-oriented individual with a positive and self-motivated
attitude. Experience in passing medications will be preferred and we are
willing to provide the required training to become certified to pass meds for
the right candidate. You must have strong
communication and critical thinking abilities as interacting with seniors while

SKILLS NEEDED:
- Good customer service skills, the

provide care to residents that need physical and/or cognitive support

changing needs of an older adult

gain an understanding of the various forms of dementia and how residents with
dementia can continue live with purpose
RELATABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience working in an
assisted living community or memory care community as a Certified
Medication Assistant or other role
- Jobs or volunteer assignments
that have given you opportunities to provide care for someone or were
detail oriented in nature
- Other hospitality or healthcare
related experience
- Experience in customer service
- Roles in which you have been a
multi-tasker
- Opportunities from your past where
you have demonstrated kindness, patience, and compassion to varying groups and
individuals
- Volunteer work involving vulnerable
groups
QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 18 years of age

Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid
Certification

Current negative TB test

Possess the ability to sit, stand, bend,
and move continuously during work hours

Ability to carry or transfer up to 25lbs
with assistance

Ability to pass criminal record/background
check

Be efficient and exercise good time
management skills

As an organization we offer our team members a

compensation package will be flexible for this role based on the credentialing,
tenure and skill sets each candidate brings for consideration. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00
to $23.00 per hour. Prior experience working
with seniors is a plus. A passion for
