The Director of Learning and Development (L&D) is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning strategies that enhance employee performance, leadership development, and organizational growth. Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives.
Program Development : Design, implement, and manage leadership development programs, technical skills training, and career pathing initiatives.
Learning Technology : Oversee the selection and implementation of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
Training & Facilitation : Lead workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions to enhance leadership and employee skills.
Collaboration : Partner with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to identify learning needs and solutions.
Assessment & Measurement : Track the effectiveness of training programs through metrics, feedback, and performance improvements.
Budget Management : Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective training solutions.
Diversity & Inclusion : Promote inclusive learning practices that support a diverse workforce.
Qualifications
Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
7 years of experience in learning and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and leadership development.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
Ability to analyze data and measure training effectiveness.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certifications in L&D (, CPLP, SHRM-SCP, ATD Certification).
Experience with digital learning strategies
Background in change management and organizational development.
Previous experience in luxury hotel environment
