Seeking a reliable, experienced leasing agent who is focused on customer service to join our team. In this position, you will coordinate the leasing, and tenant management of the property. You must manage property deposits and operations in a smooth and efficient manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter with strong communication and marketing skills. This position is full time, hourly plus excellent commission structure and room for growth. This position is seeking an outgoing, ambitious individual with sales, service, or leasing experience.
Summary: This position directly reports to the Property Manager and assumes the responsibility for leasing and marketing of the property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Respond to internet leads, answer calls, and emails from current and prospective residents in a timely manner.
- Assisting Property Manager in daily operating procedures.
- Greet prospective residents and conduct on-site tours. Shows units to prospective residents.
- Makes follow-up calls, sends follow-up literature and pursues rental status. Collects funds related to applications, security deposits and rentals.
- Maintain 95% or better occupancy.
- Screen all applicants to determine eligibility.
- Lease apartments and prepare all lease related paperwork.
- Participate in marketing efforts for the property to ensure the property maintains a high occupancy rate at all times.
- Communicate important and pertinent information with existing residents
- Maintain and updates resident files within leasing software.
- Utilize social media and community outreach to market the property weekly.
- Design and publish a monthly newsletter.
- Prepares and coordinates service orders when residents call and alerts appropriate team member for completion. Follows up on maintenance requests and recurring work orders and makes sure that all residents are notified if there must be a delay. Ensures completion of work orders and closes them out upon completion.
- Help ensure the leasing office and property are neat and orderly at all times. Inspects the grounds daily.
- Responsible for move in file compliance, adhering to Conventional Housing standards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and follow compliance guidelines for leasing.
- Responsible for alerting the Property Manager of anything unusual on the property

- Reports to work during scheduled business hours, on time and prepared to work

- Accepts transferring from community to community as the workload requires

- Completes all tasks as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree a plus
- 1 year of apartment leasing or sales experience
- Proficient computer skills required
- Rent Manager Experience Preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Organized and attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be results oriented, while thriving in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, but operate in a team environment.
- Must be willing to consent to a background check and drug screen post acceptance.
