Position Overview :
The Mitigation Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing a dedicated team responsible for handling every aspect of water damage restoration projects in our 24 / 7 operation. This includes job intake with homeowners, in-home estimating, sales, and on-site technicians performing equipment setup and light demolition, all aimed at delivering efficient and high-quality restoration services.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Team Leadership :
Supervise and guide a multifaceted team of mitigation professionals, including job intake, estimators, sales, and technicians.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
2. Project Management :
Manage and coordinate the entire mitigation process, from initial job intake to remediation.
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
3. Customer Satisfaction :
Maintain a customer-centric focus throughout the mitigation process.
Address customer concerns and provide regular updates to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
4. Resource Allocation :
Effectively allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize project performance in a 24 / 7 operation.
Monitor inventory of equipment and supplies.
5. Quality Assurance :
Ensure adherence to the highest industry standards and company policies in all mitigation projects.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain excellence in service delivery.
6. Sales and Estimation :
Collaborate with in-home estimating and sales professionals to secure projects.
Support the development of accurate project estimates.
7. Compliance and Reporting :
Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations relevant to water restoration.
Ensure all projects adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
Maintain comprehensive project records and submit detailed reports on project progress, financials, and outcomes.
8. On-Call Responsibilities :
Be available for on-call duties to respond to emergency situations and ensure the continuous operation of our 24 / 7 service.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
5 years of experience in water restoration, with a successful track record in mitigation management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure 24 / 7 environment.
Valid driver's license.
Must have IICRC certification.
Previous experience managing a team of direct reports (preferred).
3-5 years of previous restoration experience.
