About the Position
The Highland County Board of Supervisors is seeking a qualified part-time County Attorney to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide expert legal advice to the County Board of Supervisors and other constitutional officers on various matters, including zoning regulations, solid waste removal, and budgetary issues.
Responsibilities
- Advise the County Board of Supervisors on complex legal matters
- Represent the County in court proceedings
- Negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of the County
- Collect and sue for delinquent fees
- Advising the County Registrar on voting matters

Requirements
- Current Virginia Bar license
- Five (5) or more years of experience in local government law
