Job Overview
We are a privately owned dental practice seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Office Manager to join our team. This role will provide assistance to the Office Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional support to both staff and patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, reliability and a passion for fostering a positive work environment.
Experience is not required, but preference will be given candidates who have worked in a dental office and have front desk experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with dental regulations.
- Manage and train office staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, insurance breakdowns and patient outreach to optimize office flow.
- Maintain accurate patient records, financial accounts, files, and documentation in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Aid in supporting human resources functions including onboarding new employees and managing employee records.
- Implement office management procedures that enhance productivity and improve patient experience.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
- Treatment plan presentations to patients.
Skills
- Proven experience in team management within an office setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in administrative duties including file management and scheduling.
- Experience in training development to enhance staff capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Familiarity with dental office terminology and technology is preferred but not required.
Compensation: This is a salaried position. $35,000 per year plus bonuses.
