The ideal candidate should have knowledge of HAACP and Food Defense Programs, familiarity with FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 111, and working understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and critical thinking skills are also essential for this position.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain Quality Control Records
- Develop Standard Operational Procedures for the organization
- Monitor and Evaluate Employee Training Records
- Interact with Regulatory Agencies to ensure compliance with all Local, State, and federal Regulations
- Set and implement both internal and external quality requirements
- Evaluate Lab Reports and compare the results against the specifications for the intended materials
- Oversee product development procedures
- Complete investigations into raw material or finished products that do not conform to their individual specifications
- Recommend required training for both the quality unit and production staff
- Supervise Quality Control Staff
- Communicate with multiple departments throughout the organization to ensure products are completed in a timely manner
- Assist with Document Management
- Audit Records
- Maintains a safety conscious attitude
- Maintain excellent attendance
