Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, Store and Issue Materials, Equipment, and other Items from Stockroom, Warehouse or Storage Yard.
- Keep Records and Compile Stock Reports.
- Conduct Purchases for the Site on Spare Parts and Consumable Items Under the Supervision of the Maintenance Planner.
- Strong Knowledge of Industrial Parts and Equipment Used in Manufacturing.
- Deep Understanding of Maintenance Practices and Time Required for Parts Delivery.
- Develop Working Relationship with Vendors and Repair Shops to Efficiently Schedule Parts Delivery and Repairs.
- Work Closely with Accounting and Controller and Understand the Mechanics of Purchasing/Receiving.
- Cycle Count and Inventory Counts.
- Additional Duties as Assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
- Two Years’ Experience in Manufacturing Environment.
- Must Have Forklift Experience.
- Ability to Understand and Follow Written and Verbal Job Requirements.
- Thorough Knowledge of All MS Office, Windows Including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Ability to Work Well in High Places.
- Ability to Climb Ladders, Stairs, Scaffolding and Ramps.
- Ability to Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Reach, Stand, Walk, Push, Pull, Lift and Grasp.
- Ability to Work Outside in Environmental Conditions.
- Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds.
