Job Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform and document required inspections of equipment.
- Analyze equipment performance and make necessary tooling changes.
- Ensure all work is performed in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain all equipment tools and workstations.
- Ability to utilize skills to improve equipment optimization and reliability.
- Maintain logs and recorded labor materials and equipment used.
- Effectively communicate to all team members and management any equipment deficiencies.
- Meticulous attention to detail able to follow instructions both written and verbal
- Participate in breakdown analysis root cause analysis focused improvement and 5s projects.
- Ensure workers adhere to local state and federal codes and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Qualifications and education requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent education trade school or college preferred.
- One year of in-plant manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work independently and utilize critical problem-solving and decision-making skills to generate and implement solutions throughout the process
- Must maintain compliance within all LOTO confined space hot work working at heights policies.
- Osha 10 training and experience.
- Ability to work extended hours to include nights weekends and holidays.
- Ability to continuously walk or stand bend squat climb stairs and lift items above shoulders.
- Ability to work outdoors rotating shifts and lift 50 pounds required.
