JOB SUMMARY: The Vice President (VP) of Intensive Services provides leadership, direction, and oversight of every facet of the Intensive Mental Health Programs. The VP plans, organizes and directs diversified, multidisciplinary behavioral health programs. The VP provides guidance concerning the day-to-day delivery of established program processes to ensure smooth operation.
This position can be based in any of the 13 counties in the Highland Rivers catchment area.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Employee will provide operational oversight for Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Intensive Case Management (ICM), Community Support Team (CST), and other assigned programs and staff. Employee will motivate and lead a high-performance team.
- Employee will plan goals and objectives in accordance with accreditation standards, governing boards, and individuals served in daily operations of assigned programs. These will be data driven.
- Employee will develop clinical and financial targets for supervised service areas. Employee will monitor, assess, and evaluate programs to determine compliance and progress in meeting established goals and clinical and financial targets. Employee will ensure program adherence to fidelity model programs (e.g., ACT, CST, etc.). Employee will put corrective actions into place for deficient areas.
- Employee will conduct clinical review and management of individuals served as it relates to process and quality improvement and/or overall system improvement. Employee will participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing assessment of programs as it relates to system improvement.
- Employee will collaborate with peers and applicable staff to enhance and/or develop training curriculums and programs on best practices and improvement of services.
- Employee will provide supervision and/or ensure adequate supervision is occurring. Employee will meet with supervisory clinical staff to direct and review work in collaboration with other clinical program managers or directors.
- Employee will participate on internal committees such as the Quality Improvement Committee and collaborate with the QI Coordinator. Employee will participate on other teams and task forces as assigned.
- Employee will maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in the field and apply pertinent new knowledge to performance of other responsibilities.
