Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Provide diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic illnesses.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize electronic health record systems
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care for patients with complex needs.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in nursing, anatomy, coding, and relevant healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Experience or familiarity with senior care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems; experience with Athenahealth or Cerner is a plus.
- Previous experience in occupational health or hospital settings is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
