Job Summary
We are seeking a Patient Care Tech PRN to join our team at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), you will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the Department. You will consistently assist the patient care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment.
You will participate in the implementation of nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse. This includes obtaining and recording initial and ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care, such as vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, calorie counts, and other patient information as outlined by policy.
