Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients while assisting nursing staff with daily tasks. A strong understanding of women's healthcare needs, prenatal care, medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Documenting patient medical history, medications and concerns.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Give injections, run urine screens, and HGB test. Set patient up on NST monitors.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient exam area.
- Communicate effectively with all medical personnel.
- Support patients and provide the highest standard of care.
- Provide support with patient phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, disability paper work. Assist staff in providing care for all patients healthcare needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential.
- Experience working in OB/GYN is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.

Pay: $16.42 - $17.28 per hour
