Overview
Highlands Ranch Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through daily maintenance of all operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including electrical work, hot tub maintenance, lawn care, snow removal, firewood replenishment, and tractor operation. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring a safe and functional environment for all of our guest rooms and surrounding property.
Responsibilities
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to address maintenance-related inquiries.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot daily projects as needed.
- Respond to innkeeping, store, and restaurant service requests.
- Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, heating/air/electrical systems, as needed.
- Identify and perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Work on-call, weekend shifts, and overtime as necessary.
- Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.
- Complete grounds work, such as grounds pick up, trash collection, sweeping, and landscaping.
- Perform other duties as requested to support property operations.
- Snow removal by tractor, blower, and shovel when necessary.
- Lawn care with riding mower, rake leaves/needles, debris removal, and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues quickly.
Experience
- Proven experience in daily maintenance roles as it pertains to the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Strong self-starter skills while understanding the importance of proactively maintaining a resort property to the highest standard.
- Proactively executing a daily maintenance to-do list.
- Fluent English required. Reading, writing, and speaking.
