Job Summary
The Seasonal Leasing Agent is responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties. This role will run from April to June 2025. This will involve attracting and retaining tenants, conducting property tours, processing lease applications, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Seasonal Leasing Agent will work closely with prospective and current tenants, provide detailed information about available properties, and handle lease agreements and renewals. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a thorough understanding of leasing regulations and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants
- Assist with application processing and background checks
- Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements and addendums
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns
- Conduct market research and set competitive rental rates
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for property advertising
- Oversee move-in and move-out processes
- Manage lease renewals and negotiate terms
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements and tenant documentation
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations and company policies
- Foster a positive relationship with the community
- Provide regular reports on leasing activity and occupancy rates
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Leasing Supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness of the front office area
- Work with CRMIQ software and keep up-to-date files on all new move-ins
- Conduct move-in orientations for new tenants
- Place move-in gifts and send move-in welcome letters
- Perform all other duties as needed.
