What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech-Med Surg PRN position at Highpoint Health – Riverview?
Under the supervision of a RN, performs basic patient care activities such as monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
PRN, work as needed. Patient Care Technician education preferred. Must be currently enrolled in Nursing School. High School Diploma or GED required. State Certified Nurse Adie can be considered without High School Diploma or GED. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment. State of TN certified Nurse Aide licensure or EMS licensure preferred. One year certified nurse tech or EMS experience preferred or Current Nursing Student.
