Description
Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.
Reports to : Director Respiratory Therapy

Qualifications
Minimum Education
Certification or Degree in Respiratory Therapy required Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of employment, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 12 months of employment
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) required within 12 months of employment Required Skills
License : Current TN RRT or CRT licensure Minimum Work Experience
Six months to one year experience in Respiratory required
