Description
Responsible for the direction of assigned Physician Practice locations. Directs outpatient medical practices within in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. The Director works in conjunction with the Market Physician Practice Director and hospital executive team(s) to ensure successful growth and development of HighPoint Health Partners medical practices. Routinely makes onsite visits to assigned market practice locations.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, practice management, business, or related field - Required
Master's degree - Preferred Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum Work Experience
5 years experience in medical practice / outpatient management, contracting or management of physician / provider relationships with a minimum of 3 years direct staff management experience required. Experience in budgeting, physician demand analyses and practice start-ups - Preferred.
