Responsible for the market-level direction of Physician Practice Management. Directs outpatient medical practices within the HighPoint market in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Market Director works in conjunction with the hospital executive team(s) to ensure successful growth and development of Highpoint Health medical practices. Routinely makes onsite visits to market practice locations.
Reports to : AVP of Operations - Physician Services and Market President & CEO
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, practice management, business, or related field - Required
Master's degree - Preferred Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
Licenses : Minimum Work Experience
5 years medical practice management with a minimum of 3 years direct staff management experience required. Experience in budgeting, physician demand analyses and practice start-ups.
