Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
· Assign tasks based on skills and project needs.
· Provide training and guidance on techniques and safety.
· Monitor performance, identify improvements, and solve problems.
· Hold regular meetings to share updates and set expectations.
Sales
· Be knowledgeable about all company services.
· Share enhancement plans with other departments to meet client expectations.
· Build and maintain client relationships through weekly communication and quarterly site visits to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
Project Execution:
· Review client plans to ensure proper implementation.
· Schedule and coordinate daily work across client sites.
· Ensure tasks are completed on time and within deadlines.
· Perform quality checks to maintain high standards.
Client Management:
· Understand clients’ needs and develop short- and long-term enhancement plans for clients’ property.
· Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage sales and referrals.
Operational Management:
· Maintain inventory of gardening tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repair.
· Coordinate with clients to address concerns and schedule additional services.
· Report on project progress to your manager.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Horticultural Expertise:
Strong understanding of plant identification, proper pruning techniques, seasonal planting needs, and pest management practices.
Leadership Abilities:
Proven ability to motivate and lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors.
Physical Fitness:
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Typical Work Environment:
- Primarily outdoors on various client properties, including residential and commercial landscapes.
- Exposure to weather elements, including sun, rain, and extreme temperatures.
Driver's License
· Must be 21 years or older and have a valid U.S. Driver’s License that is not currently suspended or revoked (driving record must meet the insurance carrier’s policy requirements and Highridge Landscapes Inc. driving standards).
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
