Position Summary: The Garden Services Manager will oversee the daily operations of the garden department, including supervising staff, scheduling routes, managing small garden projects, and providing top-notch customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for horticulture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train garden department staff, including foremen and crew members
- Develop and implement garden designs tailored to client needs
- Prepare estimates for garden projects and oversee their execution
- Manage service contracts and ensure timely invoicing
- Collaborate with clients to address concerns and enhance satisfaction
- Help maintain nursery plant health
- Work on site with garden crews
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work well with people!
- Strong communication skills with teammates and clients
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in horticulture or a related field
- Proven leadership and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of plant identification and horticultural practices
