What we are looking for in our next team member:
We're seeking an experienced restoration estimator to support our project managers! In this key role, you'll be responsible for writing estimates and invoices for water damage, mold remediation, asbestos abatement and various other disaster response invoices. Our restoration estimator will also be responsible for guided negotiation with insurance adjusters & homeowners, staying vigilant about all accounts receivable and following up on estimates sent to homeowners.
Responsibilities:
- Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, wind and mold restoration projects.
- Coordinate estimates and communicate with subcontractors.
- Create accurate and profitable job estimates.
- Prepare written proposals.
- Obtain bids from subcontractors.
- Completed estimates will be forwarded to the customer within one (1) business day of the property inspection.
- Communicate with customers; make sure they are constantly informed of their project status.
- Maintain project files.
- Build and maintain relationships with claims adjusters and contractors.
- Follow up on estimates sent to homeowners.
- Negotiate with insurance adjusters.
- Maintain regular communication with all accounts receivable
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a restoration estimator or similar role in the mitigation or related industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Compensation Package:
- Bonus opportunities
