What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upholsterer Contract Furniture position at Hightower Group, LLC?
The Upholstery team at Hightower are skilled craftspeople who understand contract furniture upholstery's accuracy, precision, and consistency. This sock-on, tight-fitting upholstery application allows for little error to meet our high-quality standards. You will be skilled in various materials, including leather, cloth, and vinyl. You will be required to learn all types of styles.
Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 50 Ibs frequently, Use hands with power tools, and ability to stretch and pull fabric consistently. Standing up to 9 hours a day.
The schedule is Monday - Thursday 7am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am - 11am. Overtime would start at 6 am and Fridays may run longer if needed. Occasional Saturdays.
