Bodily Injury (BI) Attorney – Tampa, FL (2-5 Years of Experience, In-Office Position)
Hightower & Partners, an AV-rated insurance defense firm, is seeking an experienced Bodily Injury (BI) Attorney to join our Tampa, FL office. This is an in-office position for a litigation attorney with 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense who is ready to take on a high level of responsibility in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of BI defense matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and general liability claims.
- Take and defend depositions, including expert, fact witness, and plaintiff depositions.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as lead or supporting counsel.
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions and motions in limine.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and provide case evaluations to clients and insurance adjusters.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and trial teams on complex litigation matters.
Qualifications:
- Must be barred in Florida and in good standing to be considered.
- Must be able to work in-office
- 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on bodily injury claims.
- Experience handling depositions, hearings, and mediations with minimal supervision.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze case strategies and provide risk assessments to clients and carriers.
- Trial experience is a plus
