Your Future Team
The IT Purchasing Manager will play a key role on our IT Services team that supports our growing and evolving business. They will drive key processes to source, purchase, and deliver technology assets to teams across Hightower and its advisor practices.
What You’ll Do
Hightower is looking to add an IT Purchasing Manager to lead all aspects of its IT purchasing processes.
Serve as a Hightower brand ambassador by upholding The Hightower Way cultural elements – Mission, Purpose, V.A.L.U.E. Experience, Commitment and Standards, promoting excellence in the internal and external client experience during every encounter
Improve consistency in every client and colleague encounter by embodying the core principles of our Hightower V.A.L.U.E. Experience (Validate, Actively Listen, Leverage Resources, Understand Ownership, Express Gratitude)
Partner with cross-discipline team members to support collaboration and promote a positive client experience
Develops a purchasing strategy and negotiates prices with suppliers.
Manages and tracks goods ordered and received, ensuring delivery and set up of equipment.
Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory levels and supply needs.
Oversees Technology Purchasing service queue to provide friendly, responsive service to purchasing needs.
Manages catalog of standard equipment and availability in self-service purchasing portal
Manages fixed asset tracking and management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
Oversees asset disposal plan to recycle, donate, or otherwise sell obsolete inventory and equipment.
Manages IT Purchasing team members and initiatives.
Maintains monthly scorecard of key performance indicators and metrics that support data-based decision-making.
Keeps up with trends in procurement, purchasing technology, and supply chain.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field with specific category experience in Information Technology, i.e., Hardware, Software Licensing and Subscriptions, Telecom.
5 years of IT Purchasing and Asset Management experience in a related field.
Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills - including the ability to use formulas, functions and pivot tables.
Proficiency with Sage, Concur, and Amazon Business
