What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors, securing the best pricing and quality while maintaining strong relationships.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks, proactively adjusting procurement strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
• Ensure all purchasing activities align with project budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
• Oversee and optimize inventory management, preventing shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Lead and mentor purchasing team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
