We are a family-owned business providing high quality automobile repair and tire services for the past 13 years. We have a high volume fast paced environment and customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. Our shop offers a variety of services from oil changes to engine replacement. We work Monday – Friday and take most major holidays off.
As a Service Manager with Highway 16 Auto Repair you are the person that our customers look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are who they see every time they make an investment in their vehicle, and for these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our customers. Our Service Manager is accountable for taking our customer through the entire repair process, keeping them informed on the status of their vehicle and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
The Service Manager works with the owner to handle all aspects of the daily operation of the business. You will manage sales activities, staff, quality of work, customer satisfaction, revenue, profit margin, and other documented goals as assigned by the Owner. You will work closely with the service advisors and handle all personnel issues regarding the technicians, service writing, customer satisfaction, ordering parts/supplies and vendor relationships. All office and shop personnel report directly to the Service Manager.
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the automotive service department
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians and service advisors
- Ensure efficient and timely completion of all vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of service history, repairs, and warranties
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and trends
- Present the best solution to properly repair our customer’s vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand
- Working outside normal business hours may be necessary to complete
responsibilities
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive service and repair procedure - Minimum 5 years supervisory or Management experience in the Automotive Industry
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer software used for service writing and inventory management
- Experience with cash handling and financial transactions
- Knowledge of tire service, alignment, shocks, struts, and other automotive components

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
