Highway 9 Marketing & Events is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to represent an up-and-coming beverage brand. Someone who can think strategically and act tactically with a creative spin so that NO DAYS OFF Premium Water can innovate and stand out as the next generation of water, but more importantly connect as a breakthrough lifestyle brand. NO DAYS OFF Premium Water is looking to drive brand awareness and trial one cold can at a time through strategic local events and retail outlets; in-store demos, and influencer seeding opportunities to create a personal connection with the consumer. Deep knowledge of what makes Nashville unique, and a strong network of who makes the city click, is a must. The goal is to drive sales by developing and executing strategic marketing events in the designated marketplace. This will focus on key pillars including active fitness, Nashville lifestyle, music, and college.

The ideal candidate would:

• Work with Brand Director to create and implement strategic market plans for the brand in designated markets

• Align local market plan with National programming, brand direction, and National/Regional partnerships

• Lead experiential/event marketing initiatives throughout the Nashville area

• Provide marketing support and brand building expertise to key stakeholders, including but not limited to: company sales team, distributor partners, retailers and promotional partners

• Build and manage yearly program with monthly/weekly calendar outlining local events, national event partnerships, guerrilla/opportunistic missions, and distributor/sales programming and initiatives

• Source events that fit within the brand pillars, and work with event organizers to maximize the brand partnership

• Support brand sales objectives increasing consumer awareness/education/trial, assisting with weekly retail tasks and routines (merchandising, etc)

• Integrating with sales teams and distributors to drive traffic and volume at key retailers

• Support the NO DAYS OFF college programming, with the intention of driving awareness and excitement with distributors, merchandising new customers, and executing content driven activations in designated markets

• Identify and maintain relationships with content creators, influencers and celebrities in the Nashville market

• Know your brand and products inside and out

• Work with brand sales/marketing staff to schedule and manage field demo/opportunistic event activities

• Attend key events as the on-site manager, overseeing Brand Ambassador team, product sampling, and content capture for recaps

• Manage local field budget, allocating sponsorship dollars, manpower, event logistics, etc.

• Recruit, train, manage, and coach an all-star team of Brand Ambassadors in the local market that embody the brand

• Provide event/local market knowledge, consumer feedback, local market competitive intelligence, and event expertise to brand

• Provide feedback to Marketing Director on Brand Ambassadors

• Compile and present monthly event recaps to Brand Team

• Deliver regular quantitative/qualitative analysis of consumer/influencer feedback, sales results, and program outcomes

• Capture/maintain content for brand’s social media platforms/partners including PR & influencers

• Operate company vehicles safely, in compliance with all federal/state/local motor vehicle regulations/laws

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in field marketing and brand marketing with emerging brands, preferably beverage

• On premise work experience in bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. a plus

• Track record of success in building marketing programs

• Strong understanding of local community events

• Market expert; connected with key influencers and partners

• Exceptional communication skills, including presenting and training abilities

• Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills

• Strong planning and project management skills

• Confident in leading a team and setting an example of expectations

• Outgoing personality with excellent communications skills to engage consumers

• Strong networking and relationship building skills; ability to interact with senior management and creative professionals at all organizational levels, ie: business owners/entrepreneurs and other stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to deliver creative solutions on business objectives in response to inevitable market challenges

• Desire to do things differently and create something special

• Not afraid to get their hands dirty

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office & strong general computer skills

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Availability to travel to different markets, as directed and as needed by brand, within the Southeast territory

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
