Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, particularly front of house and back of house management. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, managing shifts, and ensuring the highest standards of food handling and customer service. We are currently in a transition period looking to have someone grow with our business and ensure all new SOPs are being followed
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Manage shift schedules and delegate time to team members with labor cost being a high priority ie(cut staff/overtime)
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Train and develop staff in food service techniques, customer interaction, and operational protocols.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Assist in budgeting processes to optimize operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with supervising staff and managing shifts effectively.
- Familiarity with catering and banquets is a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems for transaction processing.
- Excellent training development skills to enhance team performance.
- Ability to manage budgets and understand financial implications of operational decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
